The poem was written on November 20, 2020. The idea to turn it into song came quite quickly, but was implemented only at the beginning of 2023. At the same time the text was edited (the first quatrain became a chorus, "just wait" became "must wait", "as a dead" became "like a dead"), so the date of creation is indicated in 2023, not 2020.
The recording of the song was completed on February 4, 2023, becoming the first recording made in exile. At first, Szysztof perceived the song as a personal message and did not plan to publish it, at least until he collected enough material for a full-fledged English-language album. But in the process of working on this site, it was decided to publish the song on the principle "more releases, good and different".
