Information
Szysztof supplemented the publication of the mini-album "Hate, despise, unsubscribe" with a detailed Telegram post in Russian. Its translation with additional links which explain the allusions can be read here. Some additional information is given below.
The mini-album consists of three songs which were originally intended for the album "НуЩоЦеЗа". Back in 2022, it became clear that the concept of this album as a whole was a failure. But it was still possible to choose three songs that have not lost their relevance.
"Hate, Despise, Unfollow" became the first release to be published (and partially recorded) in exile. Recording and editing took only one week. Unfortunately, the desire to meet a specific date affected the quality of performance and the richness of the arrangements. Nevertheless, the mini-album turned out to be quite a solid statement which provokes discussions.
The song "Охоюшки-хой" was written during Kerch Strait incident, on the very day when martial law was introduced in some regions of Ukraine. However, the video was not published due to poor quality. The song was recorded from scratch for the release.
"Ничей не агент" was started and abandoned around 2015. Full lyrics, guitar and vocal parts were formed in March 2019, but due to the complexity of the latter, it was not possible to make a high-quality recording for a long time. The song was recorded from scratch for the release.
The song "Є Э" was written somewhen between the end of February and the beginning of March 2019, under the impression of a trip through the Ukrainian-controlled territory of Donbas. By May 7 of the same year, a rough recording was completed, which was not published due to the low quality of the vocals, though its instrumental part can be heard in a talking-head video on YouTube and Instagram, where Szysztof expresses his up-to-date (very vague) political views. For the release, the vocals and the bass guitar part were re-recorded, and the piano part was edited. The rest of the audio tracks were taken directly from the rough version, so the sound of this song differs quite distinctly from the previous two, but is pretty similar to "Deadly Slope", which was also recorded in spring 2019.
