Compilation album "Останки Были Бы Такими, Но Я Ж Ещё Не Сдох!" ("Remains Would Be Like This, But I'm Not Dead Yet!") became the first official release by Szysztof.

At that time (since the end of 2020), Szysztof was actively working on the album "Absurd" (yet to be released) and decided to study in advance all the nuances of releasing an album through the distributor. Moreover, Szysztof has already re-recorded vocals (sometimes not only vocals) for some of his songs at the beginning of 2020 while working on a talking-head video. Only excerpts of these songs were featured in the video, their full versions being "gathering dust" in a SoundCloud playlist. But why should they gather dust if they are ready to be simply "fed" to the distributor to produce a compilation album? All that's left to do is to put them in the correct order.

The compilation is based on a demo which was published on 25 June, 2012 on VK and July 18, 2012 on SoundCloud. 5 of its 6 tracks were released unchanged, while in the song "Весенняя одурь" the vocals have been re-recorded* and backing vocals have been added.

The song "Для чего?" was composed and first recorded in an acoustic version in March 2012, see this VK post. In 2020* a heavy version of the song was recorded almost from scratch. Only sample taken from the acoustic version was the harsh, eerie electric "scream" caused by electrical network problems in the rehearsal room where that version was recorded.

The song "Я сражаюсь со стеной" was composed and recorded in 2017, and very quickly: it was composed on February 20, recorded on February 21 and its first verse was presented on February 22 in a VK video called teaser. But then the process stalled, since all the vocal takes were rejected. Only in 2020* Szysztof managed to sing this song somewhat acceptably.

The song "Слова в пустоту" is one of the first composed by Szysztof**. The recording was made on 17 July, 2006, but was not published due to poor quality. Attempts to record a higher-quality version from scratch in 2008 were unsuccessful; on the contrary, efforts to improve the quality killed all the live spontaneity of the sound. Fortunately, in 2020* Szysztof managed to find all the audio tracks of the original recording and remix them. The vocals were re-recorded with addition of backing vocals.

The guitar part of the song "...и ночь (на стихи А. Блока и В. Хлебникова)" was composed in the summer of 2011, and the melody, most likely, in March 2012, when the lyrics were compiled. But the recording was made only in 2016 and published on November 28 on VK. Even a clip was made and released a month later. The compilation album includes the same recording without any changes.

The cover of the compilation album is based on a photo taken by Szysztof's** sister on April 2, 2012, that is, just at the same time when most of the songs were written and/or recorded.
